Pro Athletes Outreach began as a ministry of Pros to Pros. PAO knows that no one quite understands the life of a professional sports family unless they have lived it. We keep this belief at the core of our ministry to pro athletes and their families.

All conference speakers and teachers have been carefully reviewed by our Board of Directors, composed primarily of current and former professional athletes. PAO conferences focus on key areas vital to a balanced life:

Faith: Pro Athletes Outreach is a Christian organization. We believe that Jesus Christ died for us and through his death we have life. We believe the freedom and joy that comes from Jesus is to be shared and not forced. We welcome and encourage you to join us at our conferences no matter what your spiritual beliefs.

Relationships: No matter how well an athlete does on the field, the home is an entirely different arena. Relationships, especially with family, can be greatly tested by the demands and pressures of a pro sports career. PAO offers expert teaching on relationships from marriage and parenting to in-laws and beyond. We strive to give you tools to equip you to have successful and satisfying relationships.

Finances: The expectations that come with a professional salary and staggering bankruptcy rates among retired professional athletes highlight the importance of ensuring that professional athletes and their spouses receive tangible financial management tools. PAO brings in financial management experts to offer practical lessons in how to make your money work for you for a lifetime.

The goal in everything that PAO does is to equip sports role-models to have an intentional positive impact in their communities. We believe that achieving balance and satisfaction at home is a vital first step in this process.
